Our Slamwerks bus Tubs are perfect if you want to get your bus a bit lower but not drive with your head on the roof!

We can fit them for you or if your a bit handy with the welder you can fit them yourself following our guide below.

STEP 1.

Place your new tubs over the original tub of the bus this will give you a template to draw around. Once you have drawn\scribed around the tub cut out using a 1mm slitting disc on a grinder. DO NOT THROW THE METAL AWAY YOU WILL NEED THE SEAT BELT ANCHORS.

STEP 2.

To fit the tub to a Baywindow bus you will need to put some small notches into the rear section of the tub to fit over the seat ribs.

STEP 3.

Once you have checked the fit of the tubs clean up all the metal you will be welding to around the original tub area. We suggest the use of a 36 grit sanding pad on a grinder or a micro surface prep tool.

STEP 4.

Tack the tub in place check fitment again and then proceed to weld all the way around the tub taking it slow as to not build up too much heat.

STEP 5.

Once you have welded the tub in place fix your seats and seatbelts in place via your chosen method and your good to go. We suggest you wind your suspension down at this point to take full advantage of your new tubs.
